This week I have started illustrating a new picture book…

The idea came up when there was an article in the newspaper about the visit of our king to China. The present China gave to The Netherlands are to panda bears. Late september 2016 the panda bears will arrive at a zoo near by. I thought that it would be great to make a picture book about this event. The publishing house (Buddy Books) that My husband and I run decided to ask Willemijn De Weerd to write a story, and I will be illustrating it. I am very happy to have the opportunity to work on this project. Just started with the character design. The book will be in stores September 2016. Stay updated for more sketches!
